Student Volunteering at the Conference

Call for Student Volunteers – ASEH 2014 Conference

ASEH requests 50 volunteers to work at our annual conference in San Francisco in March 2014. In exchange for a 4-hour shift, approved volunteers receive complimentary conference registration.

After carefully reviewing the info. below, please send your requested date and time – and note a 2nd and 3rd preference as well. We will try to accommodate as many requests as possible, but space is limited and is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply, contact:

Use subject line “Student volunteering at ASEH 2014 conference”

Once you hear that your application is approved, you may use the “volunteer” category on the conference registration form, which will allow you to register for the conference at no charge (fees for events are separate).

These volunteers, once approved, won't be charged for the field trip and should NOT register for the trip (as the registration form will require payment of a fee). If you are approved, we will reserve a seat on the bus for you.

Students who sign up to co-lead field trips can choose from the following, while spaces last:

trip #2 Muir Woods

trip #4 SF Bay Boat tour

trip #5 Toxic tour of Hunters Point

trip #6 Ano Nuevo - elephant seal conservation

trip #7 Fire History
